O.K., so let me point out a few features on my blog. First of all, you’ll notice the subhead for my blog says this information is only for the “intellectually adventurous.” So if you’ve been struggling with any of my information for a while now, and you had no idea why, this could very well be the reason.
On the left hand side, you can subscribe to the blog via RSS feed. Personally, that’s not my bag, but it’s all yours if you want. If you don’t know what this means, I’m definitely not the techno-guy who can explain it to you, but I think it’s easy enough to research on Google.
Second, underneath that is a button which allows you to add my blog to something called “Technorati.” From what I understand, this is kind of like the Zagat’s restaurant guide, only it’s for blogs.
So by all means, if you do get a chuckle out of my stuff, and you find the information I give out helpful and thought-provoking, I’d appreciate you taking a few minutes to sign up to Technorati and add my site as per the directions.
Now here’s where the fun stuff comes in. Underneath the Technorati button, is something called a Widget. I’ve been working on this for a while, and now it’s done. (The Mac Widget and the Yahoo Widget will be ready soon.) This particular Widget is something you can place on any webpage or site you want. All you need to do is click on the bottom of the Widget where it says “Get Widget.” On your Widget, each day a new motivational quote will come up. These are not quotes from some sort of database, they are quotes I’ve been collecting in my personal files for probably 20 years now. Check this out, I think it will be fun for you.
If you think you know someone else who would enjoy the widget, send them to my blog as well. (Thanks.)
Lastly, on the lower left side, I’ve organized ALL my blog postings under 20 or so categories, making it easy for you to do the research you want on the topics you want. Of course, on the right hand-side, you can always enter a name or topic you are looking for into the “Looking For Something Here In The Kingdom?” box, and this will search my blog, and all the tips on my website that were posted before I set the blog up, and give you the details you’re looking for.
O.K., that’s enough for you today. In fact, it’s enough for me too.
Now go sell something, Craig Garber
