Why American Car Makers Suck

Several things to look at today. It’s Friday and we’re going to take it nice and easy. The holidays are coming up over the next couple of weeks and everybody’s basically on “chill” mode.

First, a hilarious photo an old friend of mine sent me. It’s a great snapshop of the American Auto Industry:

Second, if you haven’t yet see it, the replay of this week’s webinar, called “What Makes People Tick: How To Write Sales Letters And Ads That Make You A Small Fortune!” is now available.

Here are just a few of the many things I covered in there. I have probably received over 50 comments about the content and how valuable it was. We covered:

* Why people buy! Discover TEN emotional triggers and how to push them. (If you can’t do this, you are literally dead in the water.)

* The FIVE reasons why people DON’T buy! (Pay close attention to these, for sure.)

* And how to put ALL this information together in some kind of a sales letter that actually works! (It’s easy if you follow this simple sales letter writing formula I give you.)

You can watch the webinar right here:

Second, I am only 22 friends away from hitting 100 on my new facebook profile! I mentioned yesterday that I have a bet going with a friend of mine that I can hit 100 by the end of today, and I want to win!!!

So if you’re on facebook, make sure you friend me at http://www.kingofcopy.com/facebook and help me out — hook a brother up here!

Okey dokey, that’s it.

Don’t forget to check out the Ad Writing Webinar at http://www.kingofcopy.com/adwriting/webinar/replay/ and have a great weekend.

Now go sell something, Craig Garber

If you think about it, the car industry is just a microcosm of our socio-political society. They are both saddled with huge legacy costs and uninspired people. I just read an interview of Richard Branson, billionaire entrepreneur. One particular quote jumped out at me. “If your staff is inspired and enjoying their work, they’ll do what it takes to make the company succeed.” It seems to me that GM, Ford and Chrysler don’t have any inspired people that are enjoying their work. Better to give them invigorating leadership plus the ability to make decisions that excite them rather than $17 Billion and more government interference!!
