    Maximum Money with Minimum Customers has already paid for itself. I'm only half way through the book! I actually had no problem reading the parts about his life. After all, what we experience in our personal lives can have a major impact on out career lives as well.

    If you don't care to read about his life than treat your book the same way you would your television. When you don't want to watch something turn the channel. Don't want to read his life story? skip to the next chapter.

    What This Book Is Not

    This book is NOT another get rich quick scam. There are no "tricks" that will stop working in a year or two. These are sound business practices you can apply to your business.

    What Makes This Book Great

    The book itself offers a lot of ways to change the way you do business. Making simple changes in how you market yourself goes a long way. I have already implemented a couple of strategies on self promotion, pricing strategies and perception.

    It also helped me to come up with additional ideas to expand my business. I had already created a newsletter. But after reading Craig's ideas on making a newsletter successful and profitable. I have totally retooled my newsletter strategy.

    This is a book I will refer to again and again.

    Yes it is an expensive book, at least the paperback version. The Kindle version wasn't available when I purchased mine. But I'm glad I got the paperback. There are some books that have so much meat in them, I prefer to highlight and flip through the pages old school style. This is one of them.

    If you're looking for a book to help you increase your business long term this is it. That being said, it takes commitment, focus and a plan. Nothing, not even the great strategies in this book will work for you until you take action.

    I had to come in and revise my review down another star because of the trick the author is trying to pull. Have you noticed that all of his positive 5 star reviews haven't even purchased the book on Amazon. Hmmmmm? (6.21.16 update: after this post, there magically appeared new 5 star reviews from "verified purchasers" this doesn't surprise me) I don't know the author, never met him and all i'm doing is trying to save you from wasting your money and time. I have invested in plenty of advertising and marketing books and don't mind recommending those that are useful this one is not.

    What you are buying is a 346 page long form sales copy. If you are looking for simple instructions you can implement to deliver dominant direct marketing, this is NOT the book for you. This is a sales piece. There are some good points and ideas in this book but they are muddled by self promotion and pages and pages of sales letters.

    I am all for providing examples if you are doing it in the framework of teaching, but he doesn't break down any of the examples so you really don't know what you are looking at and quite frankly I wasn't impressed or sold on the examples that were provided. They were amateurish at best.

    He basically makes fun of his followers by saying Just tell everyone you are the best (even when you aren't) and some will believe you. That is why I call myself the "king of copy".

    I am a small business owner that is growing my business so I can become a big business owner. If you are looking for Direct Marketing Help, I would try Dan Kennedy, or something else.

    If you are looking to create an info product similar to this crap that doesn't really benefit anyone but makes you money, this might be a good book for you to use as an example. Wherever there is a Shepard, there are bound to be sheep. Don't be a sheep, save your $38.00

    I like this book because first of all, it's written by someone who's successfully applying his own advice, right now! That's important because at least I know what he teaches is currently working for him and I'm experiencing that first hand by being on his mailing list for the last 2-3 years.

    Secondly, I like this book because it not only deals with marketing strategies but it explains the mindset you need to have. Without the proper mindset, you won't act on or follow through with the marketing strategies.

    Third, I like it because he's specific about the kind of marketing strategies to use.

    I highly recommend it!

    Another reader mentioned Halbert and that is why I picked up this book. But naaaa, I feeled that this book just is a long salesletter and I don't get the last 20% of the methods - Gary would give 100% and a unique twist.

    The book is not bad, but I had my hopes up for something great, and I did not get that

    I have just finished Craig's Book "How to make Maximum Money with Minimum Customers", it taken me 10 days to read this from end to end! I have been glued to each page reading and re-reading the examples and ideas. It is absolutely Brill! As an up and comming business in the uk, i fully intend to implement everything i have learned. Craig really tell's you how it is and explains the truth in Marketing and sales. Buy this book Guys! it is pure Emotional Direct Response at its best!
